Public Safety
Community policing is very important in the 8th Council District. We need to support police presence and reduce violent crime, especially drug-related crime. I support creating a 4th police sector roll call center to cut down on response times and increase public safety all over Fayette County.

We need to continue to improve on traffic issues and funding the city’s infrastructure- streets, sidewalks and curbs.
Infrastructure upgrades revitalizes neighborhoods, which is very important. A great example in the 8th district is the sidewalk project coming to Armstrong Mill Road in 2019.

General Governance
We must maintain a responsible budget that allows our community to grow and prosper. The city must improve our financial responsibility in the areas of debt management and bonding capacity.
