We hosted our final Civic Expo for the school year!

Yesterday was our last Civic Expo of the 2024/2025 school year! Thank you to the teachers in each high school who coordinated with us, and for the organizations who gave their time to speak with students around the county. These events are successful because of you!

What’s next? Students will create a Civic Action Project based on a local issue they care about. They will then present these projects at Civics Day, a “science fair” type event where guests get to hear students’ vision for our community. One of our favorite parts is that many of the organizations that come to our Expos also attend Civics Day - so they get to see the impact of the connections and conversations they had at the Expos!
