Share your story with StoryCorps in Woodland Park!

Now through April 16th, the StoryCorps mobile recording booth will be set up in Woodland Park for Lexingtonians to share their stories!

StoryCorps, a national oral history nonprofit, has been recording peoples’ stories since 2003. They have recorded over 400,000 conversations and air selected conversations weekly on NPR. Recordings of conversations are stored in the Library of Congress archive.

A StoryCorps conversation consists of two people interviewing each other about anything and everything. If you want to have a conversation with a grandparent, an old friend, or anyone at all about their life experiences - and share your own experiences along the way - you can make a free appointment to record a 40-minute conversation in the mobile recording studio at Woodland Park! With your permission, your conversation also may be played on WUKY!

You can learn more about the opportunity here. This event is a part of the 250Lex year-long celebration!
