CivicLex heads to Carter G Woodson

On Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday of last week, our Director of Programs Megan Gulla visited Carter G. Woodson Academy with Seedleaf Executive Director Christine Smith to talk about our Parks Equity Accelerator Program!

They talked to students about the health and civic benefits of equitable parks access.

The group also visited Veterans Park on Friday for a walk to identify trees, crickets, and other groups of beautiful parkland creatures!
