CivicLex Presents at the Knight Media Forum!

Last week, CivicLex's Executive Director Richard Young presented about CivicLex's work at the Knight Media Forum in Miami. Hosted by the Knight Foundation, The Media Forum is a premiere national gathering that brings together philanthropy, academics, media, and community organizations to discuss how to build a more informed and engaged society.

In CivicLex's session, Richard spoke about how CivicLex helps residents understand local government and get engaged in local decision-making. But we weren't the only Lexingtonians presenting! Lisa Adkins, the CEO of the Blue Grass Community Foundation, a funder and partner of CivicLex, served on a panel where she shared how CivicLex kept residents informed and engaged with the American Rescue Plan Act funding entering Lexington.
