CivicLex was covered in Bloomberg!

Back in April, Bloomberg columnist Mary Ellen Klas reached out to us about writing an article covering our work for their new series on trust in American civic life. Last week, that article was published!

The piece focuses on how CivicLex works to strengthen community trust and  participation in local civic life, and on Lexington residents’ willingness to engage with each other on important issues.

“Finding harmony in an age of discord is not easy, but everyone I spoke with in Lexington was proud of their city and how it has navigated that challenge. They seemed ready to work to embrace rather than reject demographic shifts, to identify shared values and to engage the community to promote trust and tolerance. In so doing, Lexington has found a way to create hope, rather than smother it, in these polarized times.”

Thanks so much to Klas for uplifting our work! You can read the full piece here.
