Highlights from the Rural Journalism Summit

Last Friday, the Institute for Rural Journalism and Community Issues at UK hosted the Rural Journalism Summit here in Lexington. Journalists, publishers, media organizations, and community leaders from across the country gathered for a packed-agenda of innovative and industry-changing speakers! Our own Executive Director Richard Young was there to talk about his experience as a non-profit leader talking to funders and philanthropists about our work in media and reporting. It was a great experience and amazing to meet so many talented and passionate people working in this field.
