Welcome Haley and Jillian to The CivicLex Team!
We are incredibly excited to share that we have brought aboard two new Americorps VISTAs, Haley Wartell and Jillian Riseman! They are both joining us as Program Assistants, working with us on The CivicLex Weekly, our social media, programs, and much more! (Worth noting that our previous two VISTAs were named Gillian and Hayley!)
Haley is a recent graduate from Colorado State University, receiving a Bachelors in Secondary Science Education with a concentration in Biology. She is passionate about increasing accessibility of information through education and loves learning new things! When she is not going down a research rabbit hole, she enjoys spending time with her dog, Eleanor, and watching the latest tv shows and movies.
Jillian is a community organizer from Boston, Massachusetts. She loves promoting civic engagement and connecting with communities and representatives around their big issues and needs. When she's not out rallying for Climate Justice, you can find her losing at a local trivia night or at the pottery studio making ceramics. In her spare time, Jillian enjoys reading, baking, and watching movies with her dog Albert Benjamin Chandler V (Benny).
