CivicLex is a unique nonprofit working to improve the civic health of Lexington and Fayette County, Kentucky. It helps residents understand local government, helps local government connect with residents. Their goal is build a community in which everyone can meaningfully participate in the decisions that shape where they live.
They provide a "toolbox for building a more engaged community"covering and reporting on city hall bringing people together to learn from different perspectives and work on community challenges. They conduct deep community-based research, and help young people find their civic voice, and much more.
