CivicLex collaborated with BBNvolved and UK Student Organizations and Activities to organize a series of Council Committee Watch Parties!
These will take place at the UK Cornerstone every Tuesday until October 5 from 12:30-3pm. Join as we will watch a live broadcast of local government committee meetings, as well as answer any and all questions you have concerning how local government works.
In addition to this event, there will be optional crafting 🧶✂️ and food from Miyako Sushi and Steakhouse! 🍣
This watch party is FREE and open to students & community members.
In going forward with future CivicLex events, we are taking it week by week based on the number of new COVID cases in Fayette County. We’re going to go ahead with next week’s event, but we'll still have an eye on current COVID numbers on campus.
