Learn About Life After Addiction and Incarceration

Join an interactive event hosted by DV8 Kitchen designed to provide a glimpse into the challenges those returning from incarceration and addiction face. Participants will experience the difficulties, hardships and “red tape” they are faced with while reentering life. The goal is to better understand everyone’s individual role in contributing to recidivism*! Walk away informed and inspired on how to help break existing punitive barriers while responsibly reducing recidivism. Hear real life perspectives and ask questions of people who have experienced reentry after incarceration and addiction, social workers, the recovery community and the Kentucky Department of Correction.

This event is on Thursday May 18th, from 4-5:45pm at the East End DV8, 594 E. Third Street.
