Happy 247th Birthday, America!

This Tuesday is the Fourth of July, America’s Independence Day!

To celebrate, Lexington will be hosting a handful of fun Fourth of July events happening throughout the city, including a Main Street Parade and fireworks display downtown!

If you are feeling ultra patriotic, we recommend checking out the National Constitution Center. There, you can watch some fantastic educational videos or spend some time reading and contemplating documents important to this day, including the Declaration of Independence and Frederick Douglass’ famous speech What to the Slave Is the Fourth of July?.
