Join the Gaines Center’s Lafayette Seminar on Public Issues!

This Thursday, the University of Kentucky’s Gaines Center for the Humanities will be hosting the 2025 Lafeyette Seminar on Public Issues.

The free seminar will feature several panels on civic issues in Lexington including homelessness, historic preservation, disability activism, and more. Panelists include local elected officials, non-profit leaders, and community experts. You can view a full list of the panels here.

The Lafayette Seminar on Public Issues will be held on Thursday, April 17th from 1-4:30pm in the Central Public Library’s Farish Theater. The Seminar is free and open to the public, but registration is encouraged.
