Kentucky River Clean Sweep 2023

Volunteers are invited to help clean up litter and trash from the 12 miles of the Kentucky River that touch Fayette County. It's a great opportunity to see the river up close and start the summer off with a clean environment. The event is sponsored by the City of Lexington and the Kentucky River Authority. Cleanup begins next to 9079 Old Richmond Road, under the overpass at 8:30am on Saturday June 17th. Arrive by 10:30 am if you want to have time to go out on the river!
