Kick-off Black History Month with VisitLex’s African American Heritage Walking Tour

VisitLex has created three self-guided walking tours to highlight African American History in Lexington. Each stop teaches residents about the history of slavery and segregation in Lexington, and the achievements of Black Americans in Lexington. There are three tours located in Downtown Lexington, in the South Hill neighborhood, and along Jefferson Street.

All tours are self-guided, so take a look at the maps here and make your walking plan!
