Opioid Abatement Commission Hosting Two Public Town Halls

The Opioid Abatement Commission will be hosting two Town Halls to get input from the public on the best ways the Commission, and Lexington, can do to fight the opioid epidemic.

The Opioid Abatement Commission, created and appointed by Mayor Linda Gorton, will make recommendations on how Lexington should allocate its money from national opioid litigation settlements.

The Town Halls will be:

  • Thursday, February 22nd from 6:30-7:30pm at the Lexington Senior Center at 195 Life Lane

  • Thursday, February 29th from 6-7pm at Consolidated Baptist Church at 1625 Russell Cave Road
