Comp Plan public hearing rescheduled to November 30th

The Planning Commission planned to hear public comment around the Elements and Implementation section of the Comprehensive Plan at their October 19th meeting. That public hearing has been postponed, but you can review the language of the Comprehensive Plan ahead of the public hearing here.

  • Reminder: the Goals and Objectives of the Comprehensive Plan have been voted on by the Planning Commission and Council,  including language to expand the Urban Service Boundary. The Elements and Implementation section provides language on how Lexington will achieve the Goals and Objectives. Read more on our Comprehensive Plan explainer.

Public input on the Imagine Lexington 2024: Comprehensive Plan will now be heard on Thursday, November 30th at 1:30pm as part of the Planning Commission Work Session. This public input session will take place in Council Chambers. You can attend this hearing in-person or watch live on LexTV.
