Council and Mayor to discuss Budget priorities this week!

This Thursday, Council and the Mayor’s Administration are hosting a Joint Budget Retreat. The two bodies will meet together to share their respective priorities for the upcoming Fiscal Year 2026 Budget, which the Administration will craft over the next two months and propose to Council in April.

The Joint Budget Retreat may include some financial information, but the focus of the Retreat is to share and discuss high-level, broad priorities.

Councilmembers held a Budget Retreat amongst themselves two weeks ago to discuss their individual and collective budget priorities. You can read more about the Council Budget Retreat here.

The Joint Budget Retreat will be held on Thursday, February 6th at 1pm at Lextran’s Headquarters. Members of the public can attend in-person.
