Council Work Session!

After their spring break, Council had a lot to cover in this week’s Tuesday Work Session. A series of contract and grants were on the agenda, including $430,000 in stormwater quality project grants to the Living Arts and Science Center and the University of Kentucky. Council also voted on a series of Capital Projects to fund, including $230,000 of Parks and Recreation projects. The Lexington Police Department also requisitioned funding to create a Behavioral Health and Wellness position inside their department.
