Police Technology: City launches Fusus platform

The Lexington Police Department has officially begun utilizing the new Fusus platform in their Real-Time Intelligence Center. This platform integrates footage and images from all the Flock License Plate Readers and all traffic cameras around the city. Residents and businesses can choose to integrate their personal security camera footage with the Fusus platform, as well.

You can read our summary of the Real-Time Intelligence Center from when the project was announced in May. We plan on publishing a larger explainer on this and related technology in the next few months. For more information, you can read the City’s recent press release about the program.
