Council Approves Zone Change for 164 Apartments on Paris Pike

On February 13th, Council held a Public Hearing for a Zone Change request for properties at 2200 Old Paris Pike and 2324 Paris Pike. Joyland Crossing LLC is seeking this zone change from a Highway Business Zone (B-3) to a Medium Density Residential Zone (R-4) to construct a four-building apartment complex with 164 total units.

Council approved the Zone Change in a 10-3 vote, with Councilmembers Gray, Plomin, and Sevigny voting No and Councilmembers Reynolds and Fogle not in attendance to vote. You can see a rendering of the proposed development below.
