Council Approves Zone Change for 164 Apartments on Paris Pike

On February 13th, Council held a Public Hearing for a Zone Change request for properties at 2200 Old Paris Pike and 2324 Paris Pike. Joyland Crossing LLC is seeking this zone change from a Highway Business Zone (B-3) to a Medium Density Residential Zone (R-4) to construct a four-building apartment complex with 164 total units.

In Tuesday’s Budget, Finance, and Economic Development (BFED) Committee, there will be a presentation on the Lexington Public Infrastructure Program. Council allocated $ 3 million for the creation of this program, which will provide funding to developers to construct public infrastructure necessary for their infill and redevelopment projects.
