Richard Appeared on the Democracy Optimist Podcast!

Our Executive Director Richard Young recently discussed the importance of local elections and local civic engagement on the new Democracy Optimist podcast! Democracy Optimist also happens to be hosted and created by Josh Douglas, an elections law professor at UK and one of our Governance Board members! Democracy Optimist is also a regular segment this year on WEKU’s Eastern Standard.

In this episode, Richard and Josh discussed the difference people can make at the local government level, how many people trust local government more than national and state government, and how we use that information to guide the work we do!

You can listen to Democracy Podcast here or wherever you get your podcasts.
