Kit and Gillian Head to D.C. to Talk About Our ARPA Coverage

This week, our Director of Operations, Kit Anderson and our Civic Education Journalist, Gillian went to Washington D.C. to meet with Seek Common Ground. For the past year, CivicLex has been part of a learning cohort with other local community-led organizations across the country.

The cohort explored strategies on how to provide educational and transparency resources about how cities and school systems are utilizing the American Rescue Plan Act. Kit and Gillian shared about our approach to covering LFUCG's ARPA allocations and process and how we tried to engage residents in this critical piece of government transparency.
