Stephanie wins a state-wide award!

Over the weekend, our Director of Civic Education, Stephanie Mobley, won the Kentucky Council for the Social Studies’ Georgia Davis Powers Civic Leader Award. The state-wide award recognizes a leader whose work has fostered civic engagement in and outside the classroom.

Stephanie’s work does both of those! As a 29-year veteran of the classroom, Stephanie came out of retirement to run our Civic Education program. Her experience, professionalism, and deep understanding of what is helpful for educators and students has been so instrumental for both our K-12 program, and CivicLex more broadly. We are so lucky to have her!
