Cardinal Run Park North approved by Planning Commission

The Planning Commission held a public hearing last week (of May 22nd) where they voted and approved the establishment of Cardinal Run Park North near the intersection of New Circle and Versailles Roads. This new regional park will be 192 acres when completed and combined with Cardinal Run Park South, which iwll make it one of Lexington’s top 5 largest parks. This park will have 1 mile of paved and 2 miles of unpaved trails, as well as several sports fields and courts (yes, there will be pickleball!), picnic shelters, restrooms, a playground, and a dog park. Parks and Rec is very excited to see this park completed and open in 2025.
