Discussion of changes to Neighborhood Development Fund Grants and Capital Funds

The Subcommittee on Council Rules and Procedures met last week to talk about the findings from their recent audit and recommendations for rule changes on how the Neighborhood Development Funds are managed, allocated and distributed. Councilmembers talked about challenges they face with the current process and ways they can be more effective and organized with their funding. They also talked about the funding Council has available for capital projects and best practices for ensuring that those funds serve the greater good.
