Housing Affordability Study

At Tuesday’s Council Work Session, Councilmembers will also vote on whether to hire EHI Consultants to conduct a Housing Affordability Study. This study, mandated as part of the Urban Service Boundary Expansion process, will assess how many new housing units Lexington needs now and will need in the future based on growth projections.

A similar study was conducted by CZB in 2014, which led to the creation of the Affordable Housing Trust Fund.

The Council Work Session will be held at 3pm on Tuesday, October 10th, in the Council Chambers. You can attend in person or watch live on LexTV.
