Planning Commission begins work on the Elements & Implementation Policies

The Planning Commission had a work session the week of May 15th, where members saw presentations on the planning process, updates to the comprehensive plan Goals & Objectives, and a project to improve traffic flow on Richmond Road. Planning Staff also gave an in-depth walk-through of several policies related to protecting the environment, sustainability, and restoration, which may eventually become part of the Comprehensive Plan’s Elements & Implementation. Commission Members discussed specific policies related to urban forestry, green infrastructure, and reducing vehicle emissions. No action was taken at this meeting.
