Public Art Commission moves forward with Detention Center project

The Public Arts Commission has a couple of exciting projects well underway! They have been working on developing an arial view of the property by the Detention Center bus stop that they intend to put an art-paneled shelter at. Next week, the week of June 19th, they will be sharing this project plan in detail with representatives from the Enterprise Business Center across the road to gather feedback and gauge any potential interest in collaborating. The Public Arts Commission also discussed and approved edits to the Phase 2 Application for the Collaborative Program, which encourages local artists and groups to apply for city funding for their public art projects.
