After a five and a five-and-a-half-hour public hearing last Tuesday night, Council voted to approve a zone change for a 234-unit affordable housing complex in the Radcliffe-Marlboro neighborhood, on the site of the former Transylvania University baseball field.

In November 12th’s Social Services and Public Safety (SSPS) Committee, Affordable Housing Manager Rick McQuady will present an overview of projects funded by the Affordable Housing Fund and the American Rescue Plan Act (ARPA).

In Tuesday’s Council Work Sessions, Councilmembers will hear a presentation from EHI Consultants on the results of their Affordable Housing Needs Analysis.
