Richard Young is a practicing artist that has been working in and around civic engagement and community development for almost a decade. Richard has a deep interest in how creative process can positively impact democracy. He enjoys cooking, gardening, playing music, and spending time with his dog Oliver.

Megan Gulla, Director of Partnerships and Public Engagement
Megan Gulla has a strong interest in how individuals at the local level can shape change in the communities. Megan is a University of Kentucky graduate who works extensively with current UK students on the intersection of place, education, public policy, and journalism. In her spare time, Megan is an avid rock climber.

Kit Anderson, Deputy Director
Kit Anderson came to CivicLex as an AmeriCorps VISTA and now works primarily on special projects and operations. She is a graduate of Macalester College in Saint Paul, Minnesota, where she developed her interest in the intersection of data and narrative, the power of implementation, and the importance of place-based solutions. In her free time, she can be found trying to read three different books at the same time or sifting through the miscellaneous section of her favorite Goodwill.

Adrian Paul Bryant, Civic Information Specialist
Adrian Paul Bryant is an educator, writer, and lifelong Kentuckian. Adrian covers all City Hall meetings and is the primary writer of The CivicLex Weekly. Outside of CivicLex, Adrian serves as Co-Chair of the Golfview Estates Neighborhood Association, and a member of the Broke Spoke Community Bike Shop Board of Directors. You can also find him playing mandolin around town and walking his dog, Daisy, in his neighborhood park.

Noel Osborn, Director of Development
Noel Osborn holds a degree in Political Science from the University of Kentucky and has spent most of her career in outreach for political and non-profit organizations. She is deeply interested in protecting the health of our democratic process and enjoys connecting citizens to their local leaders. In her spare time, she loves spending Delta SkyMiles, advocating for the Rebel Alliance, and making statements like, “Stevie Nicks is a better songwriter than Bob Dylan.”

Stephanie Mobley, Director of Civic Education
Stephanie Mobley is a retired teacher with 29 years of classroom experience. In her role of working with classroom teachers, she hopes to help foster an interest in community and civic engagement in a new generation of citizens. When not cheering on the UK Wildcat football and basketball teams, Stephanie enjoys reading, needlepointing and spending time with her grandson.

Haley Wartell, Communications Specialist
Haley Wartell is a recent graduate from Colorado State University, receiving a Bachelors in Secondary Science Education with a concentration in Biology. She is passionate about increasing accessibility of information through education and loves learning new things! When she is not going down a research rabbit hole, she enjoys spending time with her dog, Eleanor, and watching the latest tv shows and movies.

Lilly Bramley, Project Specialist
Lilly Bramley is a native of Lexington, she graduated from the University of Kentucky with an English and Anthropology degree. She is deeply committed to community support and advocating for those whose voices are frequently unheard. When she is not traveling, Lilly enjoys making fire playlist, cooking very spicy food, and playing with her poodle, Worthington.
