The Public Input Subcommittee meeting!

After our presentation of our Public Input Recommendations, Council formed a Public Input Subcommittee to work on implementing our recommendations! Our recommendations aim to make the public input process more equitable and effective for Lexington residents and city government staff. You can review our Public Input Recommendations here!

The Public Input Subcommittee — chaired by Councilmember Hannah LeGris and comprised of Vice Mayor Dan Wu, and Councilmembers Ellinger, Lynch, Plomin, and Sheehan — met Thursday, February 23, 2023 at 10:00am in the Government Center 5th Floor Conference Room.

Members of this committee discussed options for streamlining the public comment sign-up process at Council meetings, research into what technologies other cities are doing, and changes to the LFUCG website to make public engagement resources easier to access.
