Welcome to our Boards and Commissions Research Hub!
This Spring, the nonprofits CivicLex and CivStart were hired by the City of Lexington to research and evaluate LFUCG’s Legislative Boards and Commissions, with the ultimate goal of making them more effective and accessible to all Lexington/Fayette County residents.
Each week, CivicLex staff will attend and document LFUCG Board and Commission meetings. We will also survey board and commission members to gain deeper insights into their functions. Please use this page to learn more about the project, and feel free to reach out to info@civiclex.org with any questions!
As part of the Boards and Commissions Research Project, we are requesting that all boards and commission members take a brief survey about their experience. Use the link below to take the survey, and feel free to reach out to kit@civiclex.org with any questions!
