In Tuesday’s Budget, Finance, and Economic Development (BFED) Committee, Councilmembers will hear the Second Quarter Update on the Fiscal Year 2024 Budget. Quarter two ended on December 31st, 2023.

Global Lex helps local immigrants, refugees, and English learners access city services and find community resources, while also providing a host of multicultural services to LFUCG and organizations around Lexington.

In the public hearing on Thursday, November 30th, the Planning Commission voted unanimously to adopt the Imagine Lexington 2045: Comprehensive Plan.

The Environmental Quality & Public Works (EQPW) Committee will be hearing from Rob Allen, Director of Streets and Roads on how the city has implemented environmental best practices in its paving activities.

The Environmental Commission stewards environmental education efforts in Lexington, while also advising Council and the Planning Commission on environmental matters.

On Thursday, November 30th, the Gun Violence Task Force: Community Pillars convened to talk about the needs to address gun violence that are not currently being met by the City.
