On January 28th, in a live public and broadcasted event, we randomly and anonymously selected the 36 members of Lexington’s first Civic Assembly. The process we used is called a civic lottery. Learn more about this process here.
Civic Assembly Postcards
Just after Thanksgiving, we sent out postcards to 10,000 randomly selected address around Fayette County asking anyone in the household to apply for Lexington’s first Civic Assembly!
