Public Arts Commission meeting this week
The Public Arts Commission is a relatively new LFUCG Commission that governs Lexington’s 1% for Art program and uses these funds to install Public Art on LFUCG property. Last year, the Commission released a Public Art Master Plan for what they envision for the city.
ARPA funding reallocated to community projects
At Council Work Session last Tuesday, Council took the first steps toward reallocating $6 million of American Rescue Plan Act (ARPA) funds from the Lexington Farmers' Market new facility at Davis Park, and the Salvation Army's new property location.

In December, though, Council voted to move ahead with leasing 75 extra Cameras before the pilot was scheduled to wrap up this March
